Avis adds Prestige collection to Beep booking platform
Avis Budget Group has announced that it has added the Avis Prestige collection to its travel agent portal, Beep. Beep was launched to the trade in June as a car rental one-stop shop bringing Avis Car Rental and Budget Car Rental together on one platform.

Under the new agreement, business and leisure travellers visiting Ascott’s brand websites, Ascott, Citadines and Somerset, will be able to make an Avis reservation by adding a vehicle rental to an existing serviced apartment reservation.
Avis Budget UK expands operations at London Heathrow
Avis Budget UK has launched its on-terminal car rental service at Heathrow Airport Terminal 2, in a significant move for its UK operations. This unique service is already available at Terminal 5. This multi-year partnership will enable Avis Budget UK to deliver an express plane to car service for customers, currently making it the only car rental provider to offer this at both terminals, so that Avis customers will enjoy a five minute walk to their rental vehicle as an alternative to travelling by shuttle bus to the main Avis station.

Budget Car Rental has significantly increased its European footprint this year, opening more than 200 new locations in the region. The expansion promises to give consumers more choice for great value car hire at key European destinations.
