Hyatt Hotels to acquire Apple Leisure for US$2.7bn
Hyatt Hotels has confirmed it will buy Apple Leisure Group from current owners KKR and KSL Capital Partners for $2.7 billion in cash. The deal will close toward the end of the year.

Melissa Tilling has revealed she will step down from her role as managing director of Funway Holidays after 11 years with the company. The company is owned by Apple Leisure Group Vacations.
Bain Capital takes stake in Apple Leisure Group
Bain Capital has completed an equity investment in Apple Leisure Group, the company that includes Apple Vacations, AMResorts and Amstar DMC. The private investment firm, which gained notoriety when founder Mitt Romney stood for the Republican party during the 2012 American presidential race, did not reveal the value or equity share of the investment.
