American Airlines today introduced the first Flagship Check-in experience at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). The new check-in process option expands American’s commitment to differentiate and customize the travel experience for its high-value customers.

American Airlines and two of its fellow oneworld® members, British Airways and Iberia, are observing the first anniversary of their joint business. American Airlines has reported a wider than expected loss during the third financial quarter as it struggles to regain profitability. The only major US carrier to report a loss over the period, American reported a net loss of $162 million, compared with a profit of $143 million a year earlier.
