Almond Beach Village in Barbados is set to close its doors on April 30 due to the deteriorating quality of the property and falling occupancy levels. The closure is expected to result in 500 employees losing their jobs.

Almond Resorts, located on the Caribbean islands of St. Lucia and Barbados, has selected Discover the World Marketing, a leader in global outsourcing, to provide Canadian sales representation.
