The Park Hotels has launched its first hotel in Kolkata under Zone by The Park brand.

The new Zone by The Park Kolkata is located adjacent to the Biswa Bangla Convention Centre in the new IT and residential hub of Kolkata.

The property opens in addition to the flagship property, The Park Hotels Kolkata, which launched in 1967.

The 117-room property will boast three banquet halls and two boardrooms making it ideal for weddings, conferences, events and meetings.

The hotel is also home to two restaurants and a vibrant bar, including the all-day dining restaurant Bazaar.

Speaking at the launch, Priya Paul, chairperson, Apeejay Surrendra Park Hotels, said: “The launch of Zone by The Park Kolkata is very special for everyone as we are celebrating 50 years of The Park Hotels this year.

“Zone Kolkata marks the entry of our social catalyst brand into the city and we are confident that Zone by The Park will appeal to the growing millennial Indian and international travellers coming to Kolkata.

“This launch will strengthen the position of Apeejay Surrendra Park Hotels in West Bengal as this is the third hotel of the group after The Park Kolkata and the historic the Denmark Tavern in Serampore.”

Zone currently has hotels in Coimbatore, Jaipur, Chennai ORR, Raipur, Bengaluru and Jodhpur with upcoming hotels in Gurugram (Delhi), Jammu, Jaipur, Goa, Amritsar and Surat.
