TAP reopens lounge at Lisbon Humberto Delgado Airport, Portugal

TAP Portugal has re-opened its exclusive lounge in Lisbon Humberto Delgado Airport.

Covering an area of 850 square metres with space for 260 people, the lounge is located on the sixth floor of the airport’s Schengen area, the perfect position for plane-enthusiasts to glimpse great views of the runway.

The lounge provides a varied range of high-quality facilities, including rest zones, showers, children’s area, business centre, restaurant and bar, alongside the welcoming hospitality guaranteed when travelling with TAP.

The design is bright and contemporary, with bold furniture and avant-garde decorative elements created using innovative materials in line with TAP’s branding.

The use of cork, including the floors, coverings and sofas, in the colours of the recently refurbished TAP aircraft, gives the space an ambiance that is immediately identified with Portugal.

Miguel Arruda, the architect of the lounge, commented: “The design provides a high level of comfort to passengers regardless of the type and length of their stay.

“The design of the internal space and the materials used are intended to make it pleasant and effective.”

The re-opening is the result of a complete refurbishment designed to meet the needs of TAP’s passengers.

Lounge access is open to all Victoria Gold, TAP Corporate TOP, Star Alliance Gold and TAP Platinum American Express passengers.
