Strand Palace Hotel launches standalone websites for restaurants

The Strand Palace Hotel in the heart of London’s West End is to launch two standalone websites for its two restaurants Johnston’s Brasserie and Strand Carvery, both of which will sit under the umbrella site www.strandrestaurants.co.uk

The websites, www.johnstonsbrasserie.co.uk and www.strandcarvery.co.uk are designed to highlight the eateries as restaurants in their own right. It will also feature real-time reservation system Livebookings, to enable diners to check availability and book tables, as well as receive instant confirmation. To celebrate the launch, Strand Palace Hotel will offer a free glass of Prosecco to diners who make a reservation via the new restaurant websites on Monday 27th September until Friday 8th October.

“As much as 60 per cent of the population research or book restaurants online and prior to the launch of our new standalone websites, we were potentially missing out on this market.” comments David MacRae, General Manager for Strand Palace Hotel. “We’re also excited about our Livebooking system and will be expanding upon our social media presence for our restaurants by giving them individual Facebook fan pages and a joint Twitter presence where we will offer discounts and offers.”

Johnston’s Brasserie is highly regarded for its Mediterranean influenced food, seasonal produce and as an affordable pre-theatre dining option. It also benefits from its own entrance as well as access via the hotel, while Strand Carvery is one of London’s oldest and is accessed through the hotel.
