Sofitel Bangkok Sukhumvit welcomes L’Appart

Sofitel Luxury Hotels’ south-east Asia flagship property, Sofitel Bangkok Sukhumvit this week opened its grand new French concept restaurant – L’Appart.

Set to revolutionise dining and entertainment experiences, L’Appart is a contemporary and charming French inspired lounge, bar and restaurant designed to reflect the style of a Parisian Haussmann apartment with authentic French decorative touches including wooden floors, and warm fireplaces.

The extra attention to detail is clearly evident in the refined finish of the restaurant from the overall interior décor to the beautiful bespoke furniture and the renowned Le Cornue stove.

L’Appart recreates the ambience of a luxurious apartment owned by a wealthy Parisian man passed down to his young nephew to host some of the hottest dinners and parties in Bangkok.

Just like a cosy and chic apartment, there are several luxurious and charming rooms guests can choose to be seated in, including a library, a lounge bar, a state-of-the-art open kitchen, a dining room and an outdoor terrace that opens up to panoramic views of Bangkok’s vibrant skyline.

Guests are invited to be part of the eclectic pied-à-terre setting, which encourages interactive dining sessions with staff and their adopted personas that supplement the restaurant’s ongoing storyline.

At L’Appart, lovers of a lavish lifestyle are invited to indulge in evenings of delicious French inspired cuisine paired with Champagnes, wines, cocktails, and mood-enhancing music to ensure each visit is truly magnifique.

Led by executive chef Aurelien Poirot who has worked in some of the most acclaimed restaurants around the world, the gifted culinary team at L’Appart prepares exquisite à la minute French inspired cuisine from the open kitchen.

From a palette of fresh seasonal produce, diners can order tasty light bites to share, comforting home-style main dishes and sinful desserts all inspired by authentic French classics.

Guests who wish to be surprised can choose to experience the delights of L’Appart’s special daily menu, ‘The Chef’s Table’, specially created by Chef de Cuisine, Jeremy Tourret.

A French dining experience is not complete without wine.

L’Appart features a cellar of Champagnes, fine wines and high quality spirits carefully chosen by a knowledgeable sommelier to enhance each diner’s meal.

Situated on the rooftop of the brand new 32-storey Sofitel Bangkok Sukhumvit, guests will be charmed by L’Appart’s cosy apartment setting and pampered by its exquisite menu making it the perfect venue for a romantic evening, a sophisticated soirée or an impressive talk-of-the-town private event.

Modern and opulent, Sofitel Bangkok Sukhumvit is centrally located in the heart of Bangkok, on the lively Sukhumvit Road.

A stone’s throw away from the city’s best shopping and entertainment facilities and in close proximity to the skytrain and subway stations, the 345 guestrooms and suites hotel offers unparalleled luxury and comfort to today’s savvy travellers.
