Sixt and its Sixt Franchise USA unit have announced the opening of several new US franchise locations, the signing of new franchisees, and the launch of a global franchise recruiting website.

In the past few months, new Sixt franchisees have opened locations to service airport customers in Las Vegas, Charlotte, and Myrtle Beach, as well as to serve local market customers from locations in Hartford and West Haven, CT and Springfield, MA.

Sixt is actively seeking growth-oriented franchisees in an initiative to expand its franchise network into the US, Canada, the Caribbean and Latin America as part of its effort to further internationalise the group’s business.

“We had a very active first year of franchising in the US, and we have strong momentum leading into 2014,” commented Craig Olson, vice president, North America franchise development for Sixt.

In addition to the U.S. franchise locations that are already operating, Sixt has also signed Franchise Agreements for more locations in the US that will open early in 2014, including; Austin, Texas, Weehawken, New Jersey, and several in Florida. 

Great airport and local market opportunities are still available.

“Independent car rental operators, car dealership owners, and entrepreneurs are great candidates for Sixt franchises. 

“We will be actively recruiting new franchisees at key industry trade shows like the National Automobile Dealers Association Convention, and the Car Rental Show,” Olson added. 

Additional franchise locations will be opening throughout the year, and Sixt will continue to add new franchisees to facilitate its growth in US and international markets.
