SilkAir launches Bandung flights

SilkAir, the regional wing of Singapore Airlines, launched its inaugural flight to Bandung, Indonesia.

The aircraft is scheduled to arrive at Bandung’s Husein Sastranegara International Airport at 1650 hours today. The return flight, MI 195, will depart Bandung at 1735 hours and is scheduled to reach Singapore at 2025 hours (all times local). Bandung is SilkAir’s ninth destination in Indonesia and the 37th in the airline’s network.

The airline’s other Indonesian destinations include Balikpapan, Lombok, Manado, Medan, Palembang, Pekanbaru, Solo and Surabaya.

The thrice-weekly flights on Tuesday, Friday and Sunday are operated with the A319 aircraft, featuring both Business and Economy Class. The flight frequency will be increased to five times weekly
