Seychelles Brand of Tourism showcases its smaller establishments

La Residence is a small Seychelles hotel complex of three individual homes and of five studios situated on the hillside overlooking the sea and within walking distance only to the beach. Alain St.Ange, the Minister responsible for Tourism and Culture of Seychelles, said when he was questioned on small Seychellois-owned and managed, established that properties such as La Residence at Anse la Mouche on Mahe remained a plus for the island’s tourism industry. “They manage to offer the best of Seychellois hospitality. They are part and parcel of what we have branded as the Seychelles Brand of Tourism,” Minister St.Ange said.

This small hotel is situated in the heart of a family agricultural estate with many fruit and spice trees. Because it is an old agricultural estate, hotel guests have the opportunity of enjoying the bananas, bread fruit, pawpaw, and lime from the garden.

The Seychelles Tourism Board’s official website, www.seychelles.travel , lists many such authentic small accommodations that are family-owned and family-managed. Their applicable rates are always inviting and will ensure that visitors to Seychelles retain their holiday budget to discover the diversity of islands that make up the Seychelles archipelago.

Seychelles prides itself on diversity of the islands that make up the Seychelles, but also on the diversity of its population which is often referred to as the melting pot of cultures or a country living as the rainbow people.
