Sail Croatia Boosts Hike Cruise Programme for 2025 - New Luxury and ‘National Park’ Themed Options
Sail Croatia has boosted its Hike Cruise programme for 2025 with the introduction of a new ‘National Park’ themed cruise plus a choice of luxury hike cruise options
Hike your way through Croatia’s National Parks
The new ‘National Parks’ themed itinerary is perfect for nature lovers looking for a relatively laid-back holiday.
Guests will enjoy easy hikes averaging around 1.5 hours per day on relatively flat terrain with highlights including visits to the turquoise-tinted Plitvice Lakes, exploring the many waterfalls, inlets and river systems of Krka National Park, plus taking in the dramatic views along the karst cliffs of Telascica Nature Park.
Cruising on one of Sail Croatia’s Premier ships ensures they will have all the creature comforts they need to relax in style with en-suite cabins, air-conditioning and spacious decks for relaxing while on board.
Two departure dates are on offer (17th May and 27th September) with prices for the May cruise starting from £1,219 per person, based on two sharing.

Meanwhile, two seven night Luxury Hike Cruises are included in the programme for the first time, offering the perfect balance of active adventure and relaxation on one of the company’s most luxurious ships. These itineraries tackle interesting trails, visit impressive viewpoints and explore off-the-beaten-path hidden gems.
The Split to Dubrovnik option (departing 26 April 2025) heads south from the seaside town, taking in the coastal destination of Omis, before visiting the islands of Hvar, Vis, Korcula, and Mljet and ending in Dubrovnik – the ‘Pearl of the Adriatic’. This itinerary has it all, from hikes to a 13th century fortress, to exploring Mljet, one of the greenest islands in Croatia.
Meanwhile, the Split Return South option (departing 3 and 17 May 2025) loops south visiting Solta, Vis, Korcula, Hvar, Bol and Makarska, before returning to Split. Highlights include a visit to the Zlatni Rat (Golden Horn Beach) in Bol - famous for its ever changing shape and a hike to the impressive Blaca Hermitage Monastery that juts out of the cliff rock face.
The new departures will cruise exclusively on Salve di Mare one of the newest ships in the Sail Croatia fleet, featuring a jacuzzi, multiple sun deck areas, swim platform and generous spaces to relax. With a maximum capacity of just 40 guests, she offers an intimate atmosphere, perfect for socialising and making new friends.
Prices start from £1,489 per person for the 26 April and 3 May 2025 departures, based on two sharing.
All hike cruises are led by a professional guide who will plan daily excursions that allow guests to enjoy themselves while exploring the native flora, fauna and natural beauty of Dalmatia.
Included in the cruise is breakfast and lunch daily, Nature Park entrance, wifi and the services of an experienced hiking guide.
Flights are not included but offered by a choice of airlines from the UK.
