The Rezidor Hotel Group has signed Radisson Blu Hotel, Dhahran Square and Radisson Blu Residence, Dhahran, Saudi Arabia, in partnership with Tanami Arabia.

The new properties will be located in the business district of Dhahran, a city in the Eastern Province of the Kingdom.

Located across from the famous Dhahran Mall, the Radisson Blu Residence, Dhahran will open in quarter one of this year, with 92 serviced apartments with access to an all-day dining restaurant and a gym for guests.

The newly built Radisson Blu Hotel, Dhahran Square, located across the road from the Residence, will open in quarter one of 2019 featuring 216 rooms, a business class lounge, two gyms, a swimming pool and meeting facilities.

The three cities of Dhahran, Dammam and Al Khobar compose Greater Damman, the largest metropolitan area in Saudi Arabia’s Eastern Province.

Dhahran’s oil reserves have made it integral to the Saudi oil industry, and Aramco has its headquarters located within the city.

The company’s residential camp houses much of the city’s sizable international population, which helps give Dhahran a cosmopolitan atmosphere that both business and leisure travellers appreciate.
