PortAventura prepares to welcome Ferrari World

With just one month left to go before the launch of brand new Ferrari Land, PortAventura World Parks & Resort has unveiled further updates about the project.

The resort’s third theme park will open in April to coincide with the first day of the new season at PortAventura Park.

The spirit of Ferrari Land emulates Italian excellence and artistic heritage in its iconic buildings and honours the genius Enzo Ferrari, whose legendary cars stand as international symbols of speed, technology and innovation across the world.

Ferrari Land enables visitors to experience the true excitement of the Ferrari legend.

The new park, with an area of 70,000 square metres, has 11 adrenaline fuelled attractions designed for the whole family that showcase impressive and innovative technology.

In addition, visitors can enjoy restaurants, shops and shows that embody the spirit of Ferrari.

Ferrari Experience will be the heart of Ferrari Land where families can completely immerse themselves in two Ferrari brands, GT and F1, through incredibly innovative attractions.

These two attractions will place visitors at the centre of the action in a way that has never been seen before.

Ferrari Gallery is an impressive space inside Ferrari Experience where visitors can enjoy an interactive tour and learn more about the legendary Ferrari team.

Red Force, Europe’s highest and fastest roller coaster, accelerates to 180 km/hour in only five seconds and reaches a height of 112 metres, making it an authentic experience for Formula 1 fans and speed lovers.

The iconic attraction has already made its mark in the resort as its imposing form is visible from several kilometres away and integrated into the skyline of PortAventura World Parks & Resort.

Visitors will be able to enjoy the race circuit, an unforgettable journey of over 500 metres in one of the Italian company’s GT racing cars.

In addition, eight amazing semi-professional simulators will be at the park enabling visitors to test their expertise as drivers.

These simulators are extremely similar to the ones used by F1 drivers during training and will undoubtedly be one of the main attractions for true engine enthusiasts.

There are even versions for little ones to test their skills at the wheel.
