Peppers Salt Resort and spa uncovers ultimate gourmet getaways

Peppers Salt Resort & Spa in the picturesque seaside village of Kingscliff on the Tweed Coast of New South Wales has announced two inspiring gourmet weekend escapes – each a celebration of summer fruits and an immersion into the resort’s plentiful volcanic ‘Gourmet Food Trail’. The specially crafted ‘Riches of the Volcanic Trail’ weekend escapes, will take place on 26-28 October 2012 and 15-17 February 2013 and allow foodies to unearth some firsthand knowledge of Peppers Salt Resort & Spa’s remarkable produce-belt with one of its best known exponents, Executive Chef Reuben Radonich.
The weekend event package includes two nights accommodation in a One Bedroom Spa Suite, full buffet breakfast for two people at Season restaurant daily, full use of resort leisure facilities, unlimited in-room movies and a banquet of unique dining experiences and events.
On arrival, food fans will be greeted with a welcome hamper of local produce and a tasting plate in their suite.
That evening, they’ll sit down to a two-course dinner at Season to experience the acclaimed restaurant’s seasonally inspired menus offering fresh local and organic ingredients.
On Saturday, guests will experience a local food trail and wine tasting event at Season restaurant, hosted by Chef Radonich. During this interactive experience, Chef Radonich will share his local food knowledge with guests whilst they taste their way through the food trail from a range of local food and wine suppliers. The experience will then conclude with a two-course sit-down lunch.
