Operating smooth and profitable railways in the Middle East

Arriyadh Development Authority will be presenting on the Riyadh Metro Project at the conference to be held on 6 - 7 May 2013 at MENA Grand Khaldia Hotel (soon to be Four Points by Sheraton Riyadh Khaldia) in Riyadh. ADA has received bids for the five main construction contracts on the estimated $7bn-8bn Riyadh metro project. The $7-8bn scheme has been divided into five major packages. ADA will be discussing on Metro network across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the economic feasibility of the rail-road network.
Abdullah Balhaddad, Vice President of Saudi Railways Organisation and Member of Railway Land Bridge Project Steering Committee will also address the audience at the conference on ‘Safety technology in railways’. The presentation highlights railway safety as a ongoing process which starts from the design stage till operations. Abdullah will present this topic at the time when the GCC countries are establishing their railway in the gulf environment which is a challenge in itself.
