Center Parcs has today revealed the design of the new Aqua Sana Spa at Woburn Forest. This new spa will set the benchmark for high quality social spas in the UK and beyond, taking the Aqua Sana World of Spa to a new level. This will be a state-of-the-art spa, the only one of its kind in Europe, evolved from the award-winning spas already a success at Center Parcs’ other four Villages.

Inspired by nature and combining different approaches from many of the leading European spas with the latest innovations, there are six unique spas to journey through, all within the World of Spa. The six spas are; Fire and Ice, Mineral and Gemstone, Blossom, Herbal, Sensory and Salt; each one with a variety of multi-sensory experience rooms, two of which are the first of their kind in the world. There will also be an outdoor infinity pool looking out across stunning forest views.

With more than a decade of experience in the spa industry, Center Parcs has developed the Aqua Sana concept keeping nature at the heart of the design. Leading spa designers Schletterer Wellness & Spa Design and Sparc Studio were tasked with bringing the brief to life and have been working on the project for a number of years.

Don Camilleri, Woburn Construction Director said:

“We have looked at the latest spa innovations from spas from all over Europe and developed this with our passion for nature to create a unique concept for our new spa. We have also worked with the best designers and suppliers in the spa industry who were carefully selected to bring this new concept to life. This is going to be the biggest, most innovative spa we have ever created, a concept that has evolved from the success of our existing Aqua Sanas.”

As well as 25 experience rooms there are also 22 treatment rooms with products from Elemis, Decléor and Bliss as well as Serail Suite for couples’ mud treatments. There will be a variety of treatments available including the Elemis Pro Intense Lift Effect Facial and the Decleor Mind and Body Re-energiser.

Heading up the new Aqua Sana team at Woburn Forest is Donna McKee (Aqua Sana Manager for Woburn Forest) who has more than nine years of experience within the industry. Donna said:

“I’m really excited about Aqua Sana Woburn Forest, the chance to create a brand new spa and a new team to bring it to life is an exhilarating prospect. The spa is going to be truly first class. I am already busy building the team of 80 people it will take to manage and run the spa including more than 50 Therapists. We look forward to welcoming our first visitors soon.”

Aqua Sana Woburn Forest is due to open in the spring and will bring the Aqua Sana experience closer to people in London and the South East. Just 50 minutes from London St Pancras direct by train, the new spa will be the perfect place to unwind, relax and rejuvenate away from the hustle and bustle of daily life.
