New MTR Train undergoes test runs

The test run marks the final stage of stringent testing and commissioning which the new train has been undergoing since it’s arrival in Hong Kong at the end of April. While the train will not be in service, passengers may be able to catch a glimpse of it as it passes through stations.
To date, four of the 10 new trains ordered by the MTR Corporation in 2008 have arrived in Hong Kong and are in various stages of testing. The remaining six trains will arrive in 2012.
