Monarch appoints Aviator to handle Birmingham operations

Monarch, the leading scheduled airline to leisure destinations, has changed its ground handling services at Birmingham airport - a key base.

Aviator, an already well established ground handling service provider to Birmingham airport will manage all ground handling operations at the airport for Monarch.

The new contract delivers an improved Service Level Agreement to deliver tangible improvements in service delivery for Monarch at Birmingham.

Nils Christy, chief operations officer at Monarch Airlines said: “This change to Monarch’s operations at Birmingham airport represents our on-going commitment to customer service.

“Aviator are already well established at Birmingham providing services to twelve other airlines, including Monarch.

“We understand that ground handling has an important impact on our customers’ experiences and we are mindful that high service levels need to come as standard across Monarch – which includes any interactions our customers may have with third party suppliers.”
