Le Meridien Phuket Rewards ‘Employee of The Year’ with All-Expense Paid Trip To Europe and Egypt

Le Meridien Phuket Beach Resort, through General Manager Rudolf Borgesius, recently awarded Le Méridien Phuket Beach Resort 2008 ‘Best Employee’ Khun Wilaiwan Bongsimma with an all-expense paid trip to Europe and Cairo, Egypt.

An associate of the resort’s Le Spa since 1994, Khun Wilaiwan initially planned to avail of the prize in June last year but due to the H1N1 outbreak decided to postpone it to February 2010 instead.

During the excursion, Khun Wilaiwan and daughter Siriporn Pimmuangkao will explore Egypt, Italy, France and Switzerland and fabled spots as Cairo, Venice, Paris, Rome and Venice.

“We are delighted to present Khun Wilaiwan Bongsimma with this exciting prize. Given the past months’ challenging business environment, we are definitely happy to be in a position where we are able to reward an outstanding associate with an incentive of this scale,” says Mr. Borgesius. “It is certainly well-deserved,” he adds.

Le Méridien Phuket Beach Resort is situated on 40 acres of lush tropical greenery and features a secluded 500-metre pristine beach, two oversized swimming pools, 10 restaurants and bars, over 1,310 square metres of floor space for indoor and outdoor events of up to 980 persons and a complete range of water sports and recreational facilities.
