La Cigale Hotel, in Doha, has launched a new ‘Dining & Entertainment Festive Night’ to allow guests to experience the unique atmosphere at the property.

The decision follows acknowledgment from the World Travel Awards, which recognised the hotel as ‘Qatar’s Leading Hotel’, ‘Qatar’s Leading Hotel Dining & Entertainment Experience’ and ‘Middle East’s Leading Hotel Dining & Entertainment Experience’.

The move was revealed at a press conference attended by World Travel Awards senior vice president Kevin Taylor.

Taylor presented three statues to Victor Agha, owner of La Cigale Hotel.

He praised La Cigale and the accomplishments which have allowed it sustain its leadership position in Qatar.

The property also took the title of Qatar’s Leading Hotel for the third successive year.

Considered as ‘Oscars’ in hospitality, WTA was launched in 1993 to recognise the distinction in the tourism industry.

The organisation selects the candidates on very high standards to compete on a specific title.

This year, the competition amid hotels was elevated after opening the doors to the public voting a month prior to the ceremony through WTA website.

During the conference, Hala El-Hayek, public relations & communications executive, La Cigale, shed the light on the different options of dining and entertainment available at the hotel.

“Our 11 food and beverage outlets and the diversity of cuisines from Arabic, Lebanese, Italian, Mediterranean, Japanese, and international, as well as the nightlife are what really distinguish us.

“These awards are new achievements added to La Cigale’s reputation, and to the hospitality sector in Qatar.”
