Intrepid Travel leadership to speak at International Women in Travel & Tourism Forum
Women in Travel CIC has announced Intrepid Travel chief executive, James Thornton, and EMEA managing director, Zina Bencheikh, will take to the stage at the International Women in Travel and Tourism Forum (IWTTF).
The event will take place on June 19th in London to discuss the power and importance of allyship in business.
As two senior members of Intrepid leadership team, they will be in conversation with Alessandra Alonso, managing director of IWTTF and Women in Travel, sharing advice and experience from across their career journeys, in particular what they have learned from active allyship.
The conversation will be one of the headline sessions in a day full of thought-leading, inspiring and compelling content for which IWTTF has become renowned.
The forum, now in its sixth year, will take place at Google’s offices in London, and will be preceded by the third IWTTF Awards on June 18th which celebrates the best of DEI in the travel industry.

Allyship is a key pillar in Women in Travel’s mission to create a more equitable and diverse travel and tourism industry.
The social enterprise offers a pioneering Allyship Network, which has grown in reputation and numbers since its inception four years ago, and which has opportunity for both individuals and businesses to get involved.
The Male Allyship Network pairs female mentees with senior male leaders as part of an active allyship and reverse mentoring programme, and the
Corporate Allyship Network sees businesses nominate staff members as mentees to be paired with external male and female industry leaders, and their own leadership teams to reciprocate in mentoring others.
