GetYourGuide Transforms the City of Love Into the “City of Self-Love”

Leading travel experience marketplace GetYourGuide is flipping the script on Cupid this Valentine’s Day and empowering solo travelers to have a rendezvous with themselves, experiencing the romance of the City of Love on their own, no partner required. They’re renaming Paris to the “City of Self-Love,” and making it accessible for singletons to travel for their passions.

The lights, the sights, the ubiquitous marriage proposals — Paris has earned its reputation as the most romantic city in the world, but now it can be enjoyed by solo travelers too. GetYourGuide is making it easier than ever for singles to experience Paris by offering solo travelers exclusive access to a curated selection of romantic experiences — available only for single ticket purchases — at a 15% discount for a limited time.

As part of the campaign, GetYourGuide has also launched “The Pleasure Atelier: A Parisian Guide,” a limited-edition series of self-pleasure masterclasses in Paris, led by renowned French sexpert Marie Morice, a sex-positivity advocate who helps women reclaim their feminine power.

“As a Clinical Sexologist and Sex Coach, I created ‘The Pleasure Atelier: A Parisian Guide to Self-Love’ to help women reconnect with their bodies and feminine energy, overcome limiting beliefs, and embrace self-pleasure with confidence,” says Marie Morice. “I’m thrilled to collaborate with GetYourGuide to bring this fun and unique experience for women, offering a safe and inspiring space to explore, express, and celebrate their desires on their own terms.”

According to a study by Future Partners, nearly 40% of female travelers are interested in traveling solo in 2025. This reflects a shift in how women are approaching travel, with many seeking more personal and independent experiences. As part of this trend, female solo travelers are increasingly interested in joining experiences to enjoy on their own, with 62% planning to book at least one for their next vacation. Workshops and lessons are among the top activities (84%) followed by adventure tours (25%), boat or bus tours (23%) and others.2

“This Valentine’s Day, you don’t need a partner to have an unforgettable adventure, and you certainly don’t need to wait around for a partner to book the Paris trip of your dreams,” says Madison Pietrowski, GetYourGuide’s Director of Brand in the U.S. “GetYourGuide is unlocking a new era of guided travel — one that’s inviting for solo travelers and isn’t just about exploring a destination, but about getting to know yourself through your desires and passions.”

The self-pleasure masterclass will be available to consumers beginning late April. Limited spots are available. For the chance to get lucky and join the class, please visit the GetYourGuide website to submit an entry form and follow the instructions provided.
