Evason Ma’in Hot Springs in Jordan welcomes new general manager

Evason Ma’in Hot Springs, an Evason property in the Six Senses Hotels Resorts Spas portfolio, welcomes General Manager George Siouty to the group.
George Siouty brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the award-winning property, which is set like an oasis in dramatic terrain. It is a destination of choice for those seeking the perfect retreat to relax and be pampered whilst enjoying the therapeutic benefits of the Ma’In hot springs and waterfalls.
George comes from a five-year tenure as general manager of the Tadamora Palace in Palmyra, a property which he opened in 2008. The previous three years had seen him in Damascus as general manager in charge of three 5-star properties.
George began his hotel executive career as food and beverage manager with Le Meridien Hotels in Syria and Uzbekistan, before rising to general manger with Safir International Company in Syria. It was here that he also received two Ministry of Tourism awards for Best 5-Star Hotel.
His next roles were at the Alfahed Crown Hotel in Riyadh, the Bloudan Grand Hotel in Damascus and Paradise Inn Group in Alexandria, before returning to Damascus to open the Tadamora Palace in 2008.
At Evason Ma’In Hot Springs George will oversee day-to-day management of the stunning 97-room property, which combines high levels of hospitality and peaceful surroundings to ensure unforgettable experiences.
