Cruise Planners partners with Honeymoonwishes.com

Cruise Planners/American Express is partnering with Honeymoonwishes.com, an online registry provider, to create a travel registry website for honeymoons and other celebratory travel. The registry will link directly from a Cruise Planners/American Express travel advisor’s website to their own branded registry tool powered by Honeymoonwishes.com or Celebrationwishes.com.

Engaged couples can book their honeymoon travel with a Cruise Planners advisor and register for their honeymoon trip and activities as wedding gifts directly on the advisor’s travel registry website created by Honeymoonwishes.com. In addition, couples can create a personal website to share their story, upload photos and send announcements directly from the advisor’s site. The link is a personal URL created for each individual Cruise Planners advisor.

“This partnership is a big step for us because it is the first time we are providing both registries to more than 700 travel advisors, all from one travel franchise company,” said Kristen Stark, creator of Honeymoon Wishes, Inc. “Our product provides such a unique service to the consumer and I am elated to partner with Cruise Planners/American Express who is known for their service and professionalism. Introducing this to their clients will offer strong support for our business model and increase their clientele through the registry usage.”

To increase traffic to a Cruise Planners advisor’s website, the registry homepages are labeled with their contact information along with banners that link directly to advisors’ websites. Home Office is providing advisors with a fully integrated toolkit to learn about the niche and market such as destination wedding and honeymoon brochures, customizable flyers, e-cards, press releases, trade show banners and study courses on Cruise Planners University geared toward teaching advisors about the increasing market of honeymoon travel and wedding destinations.

“Honeymoon travel and destination weddings are a very important market, and Cruise Planners wants to go above and beyond to make the experience a memorable one for each client,” said Vicky Garcia, senior vice president of sales and marketing for Cruise Planners/American Express. “We have also seen a large number of people taking a vacation to celebrate a special event in their lives. It only makes sense to provide this service for those wishing to register for a babymoon, anniversary or milestone birthday trip. By adding both registry tools for our advisors, it sets them apart from the competition by providing another level of service to their clients.”
