Budget Car Rental is stretching the travel dollar in Canada with its money-saving offer on rental vehicles. Through March 31, 2013, residents of the United States can save up to 35 percent on Budget vehicles when they visit Canada.
“According to the Canadian Tourism Commission, United States leisure travel represents Canada’s largest inbound travel segment,” said Jeannine Haas, chief marketing officer, Avis Budget Group. “In an effort to capture a larger portion of this business and strategically accelerate growth, we’re offering U.S. residents a way to save on their rental vehicles.”
Budget is well-established in Canada to serve customers at airports and in convenient locations in metropolitan areas, including Calgary, Edmonton, Halifax, Montreal, Ottawa, Quebec, Saskatoon, Toronto, Vancouver, Winnipeg, and Victoria. Budget’s car rental fleet is 100 percent smoke-free and travelers also benefit from an array of optional products and services, including but not limited to, global positioning system (GPS) navigation devices, child safety seats, vehicle damage coverage options and personal property protection packages.
The promotion is valid on weekend rentals of three days or more and weekly rentals of five days or longer through March 31, 2013. Customers must mention Budget Customer Discount (BCD) Number H029700 at the time of reservation. Offer is subject to availability and blackout dates apply.
