Hilton Garden begins MEA roll-out

Hilton is marking its entry into the Middle East and Africa mid-market sector with the opening of the Hilton Garden Inn Riyadh Olaya in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Hilton Garden Inn says it has made its foray into the Middle East in reaction to the growth in the meetings sector. The brand, which has more than 450 hotels across the US, Europe and Central America, predominantly targets the fast-growing business tourism segment.“Today is a big day. This is expected to be the first of many Hilton Garden Inn hotels in Saudi Arabia that we are developing with the owners, the Al Hokair Group,” said Essam Abouda, Vice President Operations, Hilton Hotels, Arabian Peninsula & Indian Ocean.

Located in the heart of Riyadh’s business district, the Hilton Garden Inn Riyadh Olaya features 180 guest rooms and suites equipped with a range of lifestyle amenities including pressure-relieving Garden Sleep SystemT bed and free wireless high-speed.

The hotel also provides a complimentary business centre, three meeting rooms and gym.

“We aim to complement the Kingdom’s ever-expanding business tourism industry with quality and efficiency in services and costs. Hilton Garden Inn’s experience in other markets gives us an upper-hand in anticipating, understanding and catering to guests requirements while remaining flexible to the region’s needs,” said Haakon Gaarder-Larsen, General Manager, Hilton Garden Inn Riyadh Olaya.
