Savoy, Sharm El Sheikh has announced the grand public opening of its first-class Soho Square on 4 April 2009. After 18 months of construction, the finishing touches of the development are now being completed ready to climax with an evening of celebrations.The focus will be on fashion as the doors open for Egypt’s first Fashion Lounge - a bridge between the fashion world and the public. Sharm El Sheikh now joins other top cities as host to one of these world famous venues. It is the place to be if you are looking for entertainment, glamour celebrities and a great atmosphere. Fronted by the well known, London based, Greek- Cypriot designer, Elena Antoniades, whose unique style and visionary designs literally turn heads.

Members of the public are invited to watch the highlight of the evening as Elena unveils her 2009 Spring/Summer collection across the Water Gardens of Soho Square. Twenty models from around Europe will fly in to Sharm especially for this exclusive Fashion Show which will be recorded for Fashion TV. With Elena’s Trademark of luxurious fabrics and bold print, her dramatic new line is the ultimate of feminine glamour. This is a moment that has been eagerly awaited by the world of Fashion.

Staying within the theme of beauty and glamour, Miss UK 2008, Lisa Lazarus will have the honour of cutting the ribbon to declare British House and the Fashion Lounge officially open. Lisa has taken a break from her flourishing Bollywood career where she is currently filming ‘Veer’ with Salman Khan.

This is the final complex of Soho Square to open its doors to the world. In addition to The Fashion Lounge, the upstairs of British House accommodates three brand new, top restaurants. The Sushi Bar and Teppanyki introduces a touch of Asian delicacy to the already extensive choice of cuisine in Soho Square. L’Entrecote Steak House will tempt the palate with succulent fare prepared and cooked in their open kitchen and complimented by an award winning wine list. The Queen Vic Pub promises to be a warm favourite - a traditional English Pub with a cosy atmosphere, real Pub food and an excellent pool room. 

Soho Square cordially welcomes you all to an evening of entertainment and celebration. On the main stage music legends Boney M will perform their chart topping hits, live for the crowd. Support acts from Cuba and Russia will add colour and vitality to the party.

A spectacular fireworks display has been planned to illuminate a street packed with pleasure and entertainment. Children can play freely in Children’s World Area and the whole family are invited to enjoy street performances and marvel at the magic of the Dancing Fountain. Global elegance embraces the celebrations with street food fare and demonstrations of cuisine from twenty different countries.
