Hotel Verta lands in the heart of London

]Hotel Verta lands at The London Heliport this autumn and will be the first integrated hotel heliport solution in the world. Part of the von Essen collection, Hotel Verta is the group’s first London hotel and the first hotel in the Metropolitan Set. Everything at Hotel Verta, from the unique location on the Thames, to the stunning architecture and cutting edge technology, is there to ensure that guests, whether business or leisure, have their every expectation exceeded.

The hotel’s design, inspired by the Halcyon days of aviation, combines timeless elegance with modernity. The hotel lobby is a striking double height atrium with a signature sweeping staircase up to the mezzanine level. All of the 70 bedrooms, including 14 suites, are furnished in a classically modern style, each with original artwork and the finest bespoke fittings.

All day dining of traditional English and modern European dishes will be available in the elegant Patrisey Restaurant (an Anglo-Saxon name for Battersea) - whether guests fancy poached eggs or rump steak for breakfast or dinner, they can enjoy their delicious, high-quality dishes at any time of the day. In summer months, guests can enjoy views of the Thames from the al fresco terrace area.

The Vertilon bar and lounge on the mezzanine level is a glamorous, contemporary bar. The gold and black marble, striking lighting and panoramic views create this destination bar on the South bank of the Thames that is perfect for meeting friends and family for afternoon tea, informal meetings, or after work drinks. As dusk falls, Champagne will be the signature drink and guests can dine on tapas and tasty platters whilst admiring the view. Vertilon provides glamour, style, views and atmosphere, which together with great food, drink and company, makes it the ultimate London lounge bar.

The hotel also offers a tranquil subterranean oasis - Falconbrook Spa. The spa cocoons guests in a luxurious, rejuvenating environment offering an innovative sanarium, heated lounges, steam room, sauna, gym and signature spa treatments.

Business guests are looked after by the ‘Business by Verta’ offering on the dedicated conference and events level. Cutting edge conference and meeting facilities, with capacity for up to 200 delegates, also offer superb panoramic views along the Thames.
