Club Med opens new spa after £24m refurb
Club Med Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic has reopened as a four trident resort following a £24 million refurbishment, including a brand new spa and new facilities for families and couples.
The resort now offers 427 Club rooms, 94 deluxe rooms and 32 luxury family suites - providing accommodation for a range of budgets.
The developments at Punta Cana are part of a global renovation programme by Club Med which is being rolled out across the portfolio of properties worldwide, offering a more exclusive, more inclusive holiday.
The new spa features ten treatment rooms, one of which is a duo, three palapas set on the beach and a relaxation room. The spa offers a range of treatments and therapies.
The three restaurants at Punta Cana, Hispaniola and Céleste, the resort’s signature restaurant Samana, have been redecorated.
