Access to Mazatlán improved
Getting to the Mexican holiday destination, Mazatlán, is becoming increasingly easier for American and Canadian travellers this winter owing to the the addition of non-stop flights from Detroit,
Salt Lake City, Toronto and Montreal.

Signature Vacations began weekly flights, Dec. 20, on Tuesdays from Toronto and Montreal.
Northwest Airlines will offer service from Detroit, Mich., on Saturdays beginning January 28.
Delta Airlines will start daily flights, March 8, from Salt Lake City, Utah.
“The new flights not only make it easier for residents of these cities to enjoy our pristine beaches and world-class resorts,” says Carlos Berdegué, vice president of the Mazatlán Hotel Association and Tourism Board.
“The service also increases convenience for travellers throughout Canada and the Western and Midwestern states.”
Additionally, Continental Airlines and Alaska Airlines will add seats this winter on their flights to Mazatlán from Houston and Seattle respectively.

“The increased airlift comes just in time for the 2006 winter season, offering new options for North American travellers who want to escape the cold. It also enables Mazatlán to host more visitors who come for the golden-sand beaches, authentic Mexican cuisine, world-class off-shore fishing and culture rich in history and the arts.
