Homewood Suites by Hilton, the national brand of upscale, all-suite, residential-style hotels, has opened the 93-suite Homewood Suites by Hilton hotel in Amherst, NY. The newly constructed hotel is owned and managed by Buffalo Lodging Associates, LLC. The property is a new addition to the growing roster of more than 150 Homewood Suites by Hilton hotels nationwide. “Our hotel is designed for guests seeking suite accommodations who need to feel more at home while they are traveling, especially those staying five nights or more, whether for business or for leisure,” said Hotel Manager David Zeplowitz. “We are the ideal place for those travelers who are away from home or office for several days but still need to have all of the benefits, such as a full kitchen, executive business center and complimentary high-speed Internet access.”
The Homewood Suites by Hilton Buffalo/Amherst is located at 1138 Millersport Highway in Amherst, NY. The property is near many local tourist attractions including historic downtown Buffalo and Niagara Falls. Local businesses near the hotel include the State University of New York at Buffalo, Amherst Pepsi Center, Citi Corp, Fidelis Care of WNY and General Motors.
The five-story Homewood Suites by Hilton features residential-style studio and one-bedroom suites with fully equipped kitchens and spacious sleeping and living areas that are large enough for work, study, entertaining or relaxing. To help guests be more productive, the Hilton Family of Hotels custom designed its own clock, featuring one of the easiest-to-set alarms. The new clocks also feature a connection cable for MP3 players and other portable music devices including I-pods, an addition Hilton made after research revealed that consumers prefer to maintain their own music lifestyles while on the road.
