Booking Approval System to Enhance Booking Transparency

Fair’s Fare has signed up to Dataflexnet’s Booking Approval System, designed to heighten levels of transparency between the trade and corporate customers.
The service will be used by Fair’s Fare specialists to manage bookings made for the company’s larger clients.

Corporate bookers and travellers can search for flight information, availability and fares, including low-cost flights, directly. If an individual chooses not to book the cheapest option, they are asked to enter an explanation code, which is included in the client’s Management Information reports. The industry has coined this process of fare checking as Visual Guilt.

Dev Anand, Fairs Fare group sales and marketing director said: “By combining Sabre with TAMS we are truly delivering the client a one-stop shop with the specialisation of an IATA agency with that of the traditional Hotel Booking Agency.

“Dataflexnet’s authority functionality allows us to take the long term view that when our customer’s spending is in good order they will spend what they need to. All corporate companies operate strict authorisation procedures based on price and travel necessity, the new system allows them to view and approve purchases with the minimum of fuss.”

Steve Holmes, Dataflexnet sales director said: “Dataflexnet’s range of services are designed to improve business travel agents’ productivity and efficiency. Our agreement with Fairs Fare is further evidence of our ability to add value to the trade, and we look forward to rolling the service out.”
