Hilton Takes Residence at Mount Wolseley

Hilton has taken over the operation of Mount Wolseley Hilton Hotel, Spa & Country
Club in County Carlow, Ireland.  Hilton International’s fifth Irish hotel - and the
first Hilton Worldwide Resort in the UK & Ireland - the property features an 18-hole
Golf course and an extensive Spa.Wolfgang M. Neumann, Area President, Hilton UK & Ireland and Donal Morrissey,
Director, Mount Wolseley Hotel, Golf & Country Club Ltd., signed the contract in a
ceremony at the property on Tuesday 31 May 2005.

Speaking at the launch Wolfgang M. Neumann said: “Hilton is delighted to expand our
brand in Ireland with the Mount Wolseley Hilton Hotel, Spa & Country Club - an
exciting addition to the Hilton UK and Ireland portfolio.  Hilton is looking at
numerous opportunities to further grow in Ireland, with an aim to have three new
properties in the region by 2008”.

The four-star, 143-room, Mount Wolseley Hilton Hotel, Spa & Country Club is located
in Tullow, County Carlow, 40 miles from Dublin and employs 150 full-time and 50
part-time staff.  Set on the luxurious Wolseley Estate - the ancestral home of
Frederick York Wolseley who designed and built the first British car in Birmingham
in 1895 - the hotel is surrounded by a championship, 18-hole golf course designed by
Christy O’Connor Jnr. and voted as one of the top 25 courses in Ireland.

Originally opened in August 1996, the hotel unveiled a ?22 million extension in
October 2004, with a further ?5 million having been recently spent on a holistic
spa.  Known as The Sensory, the spa features seven treatment rooms, chill-out pool,
dry flotation, steam room, experience showers and sun therapy.  The Sensory will
become part of the LivingWell Health Club, which also features a swimming pool,
gymnasium, sauna, steam room and Jacuzzi.
