Hilton Monterey Changes Ownership

The Hilton Monterey in Monterey,
California, changes ownership on May 26, 2005. The new owner, Ocean Park
Hotels, purchased the hotel from Interstate Hotels & MeriStar Hospitality
Corporation. Transaction services were provided by Bill Murney with the
Phoenix, Arizona, office of Molinaro Koger. The hotel is located at 1000
Aguajito Road, Monterey, California 93940. This full service hotel features 204 guest rooms and suites with a hotel
restaurant and bar, the Pacific Grille. This Hilton also features “In Room
Wine Program”, where local white and red wines from the Monterey Peninsula
are available for purchase. Other amenities include In Room Dining, state
of the art Business Center, high-speed Internet access in every room,
local area shuttle and a multilingual staff.

Ocean Park Hotel plans an extensive renovation including the guest rooms,
public spaces, restaurant and lounge. The hotel offers over 6,000 square
feet of meeting space indoors and outdoors. The largest meeting room is
2,340 square feet. The Monterey Peninsula Airport is located eight minutes
