Up With the Best for On-Time Flights

Leading holiday airline
Thomas Cook continues to be a top on-time performer according to latest
punctuality statistics from the airline industry.(1) Over the past three
years, Thomas Cook’s flights from the UK’s busiest airports have been the
most punctual of all charter airlines, with a total average delay of just
over 13.5 minutes. Even though last summer’s statistics show Thomas Cook being knocked off
its top spot - the airline was Number 2 in the table with more than 78% of
its flights leaving within 15 minutes of scheduled departure - it is still
the most consistent on time charter operator since 2001.

“Survey after survey has shown that leaving on time is one of the most
important considerations in passenger satisfaction,” said Glen Chipp,
Managing Director of Thomas Cook Airlines in the UK.

“Punctuality has always been a key objective for us and although we are
disappointed to have been ousted from our usual top spot during last
summer, we’ll be working harder than ever to regain the role position.”
