Amadeus Announces Three Senior Key Appointments

In order to optimise the Amadeus Airline IT (Altéa)
offering of Customer Management Systems for airlines and reflecting evolving
customer requirements and market conditions, Amadeus has made the following
appointments:

á      Hans Jorgensen, currently Vice President, Airline Business Group,
has been appointed to a new position as Vice President, Strategic Airline &
Partner Programmes. 

á      Frédéric Spagnou, currently Vice President, Marketing, will
replace Jorgensen, as Vice President, Airline Business Group.

á      Ian Wheeler, currently Managing Director of e-Travel, the
e-commerce business unit of Amadeus, will replace Spagnou, as Vice
President, Marketing and will also continue to manage e-Travel until a
successor is appointed. These changes will be effective as of 1st September.

As Vice President, Strategic Airline & Partner Programmes, Hans Jorgensen is
entrusted with the sales process management of large business opportunities
in the area of Airline IT for key airlines and alliances. In addition, he
will manage the development of strategic partnerships with key technology
players, focusing on potential IT synergies, which will further enhance our
solutions offering.

Frédéric Spagnou in his new role as Vice President, Airline Business Group
will take over the operational management of the business unit, including
the coordination and implementation of IT deals.  He will also be
responsible for securing airline distribution contracts and for overseeing
the successful evolution of Amadeus’ value-based pricing initiative.
Frédéric will divide his time between the Amadeus headquarters in Madrid,
Spain, and the product marketing and development site in Sophia Antipolis
(near Nice), in France.

Ian Wheeler, as Vice President, Marketing, will have the mission to direct
Amadeus’ global marketing and to strengthen its reputation as the world’s
leading technology provider to the travel and tourism industry. 

David V. Jones, Executive Vice President, Commercial at Amadeus, commented:
