Emirates Opens First Souvenir Shop in Abu Dhabi
Stylish souvenirs ranging from Chelsea football shirts and precisely-detailed aircraft models to Cross ballpoint pens are among the attractive choice of souvenirs on offer from the new Emirates shop on Abu Dhabi’s Corniche.
The airline’s latest retail outlet, on the ground floor of the recently-opened Emirates ticket office, showcases more than 100 different items of Emirates branded merchandise.
Ahmad Al Haj, Manager Abu Dhabi and Al Ain, said: ” Emirates is not just about selling tickets - it’s a leading UAE brand which we’re all proud of.
“We offer a total one-stop travel shop for customers from Abu Dhabi and Al Ain, and can now cater to the growing number who want to be linked to our name, for instance by giving a souvenir embodying the spirit of the UAE.”
The tempting choice ranges from a five dirham lapel pin to a 1300 dirham polyurethane model of Emirates’ new ultra-longhaul Airbus A340-500, now flying between Dubai and Australia, and starting daily non-stop services to and from New York from 1st June.

Other strong sellers include Emirates men’s and ladies’ tee shirts in 15 designs, Chelsea football club shirts boasting the Fly Emirates branding, exclusive Cross ballpoint pens and trendy high-quality leather wallets.
The popular range of 1:200 scale aircraft models includes the Boeing 777-300, Airbus 330-200, Airbus 340-500 and Airbus 380-800—sold exclusively by Emirates and costing from 70 dhs.
The shop, open from 8.30am to 1pm and 4.30-7pm daily except Friday, complements two others, at the Emirates Group HQ in Deira and Dnata Airline Centre on Dubai’s Sheikh Zayed Road.
