Continental Airlines to Inaugurate Little Rock Service

Continental Airlines and the Little Rock National Airport today announced
the airline will inaugurate nonstop service on June 18 linking Little Rock
with the airline’s New York hub at Newark Liberty International Airport.
The once-daily service, operated by Continental Express with the 50-seat
Embraer regional jet, represents Little Rock’s only nonstop link to the
New York area.

The Liberty-bound flight will depart Little Rock at 7 a.m., arriving at
10:52 a.m. The return flight will depart Liberty Airport at 6:50 p.m.,
arriving in Little Rock at 9:08 p.m.

“This new service will offer the easiest and most convenient link between
the capital of The Natural State and the financial and tourism capital of
the world,” said Bob Cortelyou, Continental’s staff vice president of
scheduling. “Importantly, our flights are timed so that customers in
Little Rock can fly to New York in the morning, have ample time to conduct
business, and return the same day.”

“We are pleased that Continental has affirmed its faith in the Little Rock
market with the addition of nonstop flights to the New York hub,” said
Deborah H. Schwartz, executive director, Little Rock National Airport.
“Our customers have frequently requested a nonstop flight into New York
City and they will now have that option via conveniently located Newark
Liberty International Airport. We are confident that the new flights will
be successful and a winner for Continental, the airport and our customers.”

Complementing the new nonstop service, Continental customers have
additional choices for connecting travel between Little Rock and New York
via Continental codeshare flights operated by Northwest and Delta.

Liberty International Airport is the New York-area airport most convenient
to midtown Manhattan and Newark, N.J. Frequent commuter rail and Amtrak
service at Liberty takes customers to New York’s Penn Station in less than
30 minutes, and offers connections to points throughout New Jersey.

Customers flying beyond New York/Newark will have the opportunity to
connect to several cities in the northeastern United States and Canada.
With almost 400 daily departures from Liberty International Airport to
more than 120 cities worldwide, Continental offers more flights to more
cities from New York than any other airline. The airline’s Terminal C at
Liberty Airport, which includes Kenneth Cole and DKNY department stores
and a variety of fine dining and quick-service restaurants, has been
ranked highest among U.S. airports in terminal concessions.

On all flights to and from Little Rock, members of Continental’s OnePass
frequent flyer program will earn miles that can be redeemed on Continental
and its partner carriers to hundreds of destinations worldwide.

Continental also offers its Silver, Gold and Platinum-level OnePass
members and its full-fare coach travelers EliteAccess benefits, including
priority check-in, boarding and baggage handling. EliteAccess customers
flying beyond the New York area also are eligible for complimentary first
class upgrades.
