Continental Airlines to Inaugurate Little Rock Service

Continental Airlines and the Little Rock National Airport today announced
the airline will inaugurate nonstop service on June 18 linking Little Rock
with the airline’s New York hub at Newark Liberty International Airport.
The once-daily service, operated by Continental Express with the 50-seat
Embraer regional jet, represents Little Rock’s only nonstop link to the
New York area.

The Liberty-bound flight will depart Little Rock at 7 a.m., arriving at
10:52 a.m. The return flight will depart Liberty Airport at 6:50 p.m.,
arriving in Little Rock at 9:08 p.m.

“This new service will offer the easiest and most convenient link between
the capital of The Natural State and the financial and tourism capital of
the world,” said Bob Cortelyou, Continental’s staff vice president of
scheduling. “Importantly, our flights are timed so that customers in
Little Rock can fly to New York in the morning, have ample time to conduct
business, and return the same day.”

“We are pleased that Continental has affirmed its faith in the Little Rock
market with the addition of nonstop flights to the New York hub,” said
Deborah H. Schwartz, executive director, Little Rock National Airport.
“Our customers have frequently requested a nonstop flight into New York
City and they will now have that option via conveniently located Newark
Liberty International Airport. We are confident that the new flights will
be successful and a winner for Continental, the airport and our customers.”

Complementing the new nonstop service, Continental customers have
additional choices for connecting travel between Little Rock and New York
via Continental codeshare flights operated by Northwest and Delta.
