Brand USA, the destination marketing organisation for the United States, released the USA Luxury Specialist badge this week on the USA Discovery Program – the online training programme for agents in the UK and Ireland.
The USA Luxury Specialist badge provides members with content on deluxe accommodations, plush spas, opulent dining options, and other luxurious experiences available across the United States.
The USA Luxury Specialist badge was created as a result of member voting to find out which two new badges they felt would be most useful given customer enquiries they receive.
From a shortlist of five options the two winning topics were Luxury and National & State Parks – the latter of which will be launching this autumn.
The new USA Luxury Specialist badge joins nine existing modules on the USA Discovery Program, as well as other recent innovative additions to the site, such as the Knowledge Forum – where users can share their destination knowledge to gain ‘star member’ status – as well as the Member Photos page where users can upload recent snaps from fat trips or holidays they’ve enjoyed in the USA.
The USA Discovery Program is optimised for tablets and smartphones, and integrated with Facebook and Twitter.
Brand USA’s objective is to rekindle the holidaymakers’ love affair with America – reclaiming the USA’s share of the market and positioning the country as a diverse destination with near limitless experiences still to be explored.
