Best Western opens new hotel in Batam, Indonesia

Best Western Hotels & Resorts has opened a new upscale hotel on the Indonesian island of Batam, a short ferry ride from Singapore.

Best Western Premier Panbil is ideally located in Batam’s Panbil Industrial Estate, a major commercial and residential area just 14 kilometres from Hang Nadim Airport and 15 kilometres from the International Ferry Terminal.

Rising elegantly into the sky, this eye-catching hotel offers a collection of 233 contemporary rooms and suites, all of which are stylish, spacious and feature floor-to-ceiling windows that showcase stunning views of Batam and the Malacca Strait.

Guests have a wealth of facilities to enjoy during their stay, including a glorious outdoor pool, an indulgent spa and a modern fitness centre.

Dining at Best Western Premier Panbil is a real pleasure, with a ground floor restaurant providing local and international dishes throughout the day and a spectacular rooftop restaurant serving exquisite cuisine accompanied by panoramic vistas.

For further entertainment, there is also a karaoke room.

Best Western Premier Panbil is expected to become a hub for business and social events, with extensive, cutting-edge function space including a large ballroom.

Corporate guests can also take advantage of professional services at the business centre, and Wi-Fi is free-of-charge throughout the hotel.

“With its close proximity to Singapore and status as a free trade zone, Batam has experienced incredible growth in recent years,” said Olivier Berrivin, Best Western managing director of international operations - Asia.

“It is now a major economic gateway to Indonesia and the broader ASEAN region, and we are delighted to be able to provide Batam’s rising number of visitors with a new international upscale hotel that showcases the very best of our brand.”
