Best Western opens first PREMIER hotel in Brazil
Best Western International is continuing its expansion in South America with the addition of the chain’s first BEST WESTERN PREMIER hotel in Brazil, the BEST WESTERN PREMIER Majestic Ponta Negra Beach. This brings the total number of Best Western hotels in Brazil to 17.
The five-star hotel, adjacent to Ponta Negra offers guests 135 rooms and 15 suites – with views of Ponta Negra Beach. Hotel amenities include Wi-Fi, complimentary breakfast, ocean view rooms, cocktail lounge, outdoor pool, 24-hour room service, concierge service, and meeting and conference facilities. Rates start around $200 Brazilian Real (BRL). The BEST WESTERN PREMIER Majestic Ponta Negra Beach is home to La Brasserie de La Mer, a sophisticated French restaurant by renowned Sao Paulo chef Eric Jacquin.

“By 2017, our goal is to develop and open an additional 20 hotels in Brazil with the majority operating at the BEST WESTERN PLUS and BEST WESTERN PREMIER levels.”
In South America, there are more than 40 hotels that carry the Best Western flag in eight countries, including Venezuela, Chile, Columbia, Peru, Uruguay, Argentina and Surinam.
