Minor International has announced a key leadership appointment for the Minor Hotel Group, with Tabatha Ramsay, who has taken on the role of Vice President Sales for the group.

An Australian national, Tabatha joins Minor from the InterContinental Hotels Group where she most recently held the role of Area Director of Sales & Marketing for the company’s Thailand, Indochina and Maldives properties.

Ms Ramsay brings a wealth of experience to the role with previous management experience at Plaza Athenee, a Royal Meridien Hotel, Bangkok and Le Meridien Siem Reap, Cambodia, as well working in leading hotels in Thailand, Bali, Melbourne, London and Japan.

In her new role, Tabatha will be responsible for all the sales professionals and teams across all Minor-operated properties, including Anantara Resorts & Spa in Thailand, the Maldives, Bali and the Middle East.  As a secondary part of her role, she will also advise the CEO and COO on sales issues affecting the owned assets that are managed by third party operators including Four Seasons, Marriott Resorts & Spas and St Regis concerns in Thailand.

Peter Carmichael, Senior Vice President, Anantara, comments, “Tabatha joining us heralds the next step in our global expansion, and we’re delighted to have such a talented leader on-board.  The success of a company is only as great as its people, and with Tabatha at our sales team helm we can certainly be assured of great things to come.”
