All Nippon Airways (ANA) has confirmed the destination of the first long-haul Dreamliner service – Frankfurt
Services will commence on January 21st next year, departing from Haneda Airport, Tokyo, Japan.
The new route will complement four existing European services offered by ANA from Narita to Frankfurt, Munich, London and Paris.
ANA claimed the new service would offer business and leisure passengers unrivalled levels of comfort and service thanks to the Dreamliner’s innovative technology and composite structure.
ANA also revealed details of the cabin to be offered on the long-haul service.
Business Class will feature the ANA Business Staggered configuration, with aisle access from 46 seats, all of which recline into fully flat beds.
This seating arrangement allows passengers to relax in comfort in their own personal space.
Economy Class will be equipped with 112 ‘Fixed Back Shell’ seats that let passengers recline without disturbing those in the seats behind and in front of them.
In addition, the 787 has improved humidity, atmospheric cabin pressure and quietness to maximize passenger comfort and enjoyment, ANA added.
