Amadeus has unveiled a new partnership with Google, with the travel technology company working alongside the search engine giant to “transform the way airlines manage their offers”.

Under the terms of the deal, announced earlier this week, Google Flights and the Google Offer Management system (QPX) will benefit from technology from both Amadeus MetaConnect and Amadeus Nevio.

A key aspect of the collaboration is the enhanced ease of the Amadeus MetaConnect feed into Google Flights.

The partnership is designed to improve flight search accuracy for travellers worldwide.

By improving Amadeus’ MetaConnect data feed into Google Flights, the metasearch can provide broader and more accurate search results.

For airlines, this means greater control over commercial strategies, distributing dynamic offers more efficiently and with increased pricing accuracy, ultimately enhancing the overall user experience on Google Flights.

This collaboration will enhance the display of airline flights on Google, increasing lead generation and enabling airlines to reach a wider audience.

With Amadeus’ detailed reporting and accurate KPI measurement, airlines can gain valuable insights and improve their market presence.

Another crucial element of the collaboration with Google, Amadeus said, is the opportunity for more airlines to leverage Amadeus Nevio.

The collaboration will enable more airlines to modernise retailing capabilities and benefit from speed and comprehensive answers offered by QPX, as well as the agility and simplicity of Amadeus Nevio.
