Airbus creates 3,000 jobs in Europe

Aircraft manufacturer Airbus is creating 300 new jobs at its plants in Flintshire and Bristol.

The move is the latest part its growth and recruitment drive in 2013 which has seen the plane maker hire more than 3,000 staff, mainly in Europe.

Between 2011 and 2012 Airbus hired nearly 10,000 people globally with the net creation of 7,000 jobs.

“These job opportunities are linked to Airbus’ latest developments, such as the A320neo, the all-new A350 XWB twin jet and the other members of that family.” Revealed the company.

“More than one third of the positions are open to young graduates (with less than three years’ experience). Many varied positions are on offer, ranging from structural or systems engineers to Lean experts, as well as jobs in the support and production. “ It added in a statement.
