Air Berlin appoints new regional manager Czech Republic, Hungary and Slovakia

With immediate effect Christoph Horak will be in charge of sales for the airberlin group in the Czech Republic, Hungary and Slovakia as Regional Manager for the region. Horak has over 18 years of professional experience in sales, having previously worked for EVA AIR Vienna, Swissair/Sabena and NIKI, where he was already responsible for the same markets. Horak will report to the Regional Director for Eastern Europe, Stefan Magiera.

Since 6th February airberlin has been operating daily flights from Budapest to Berlin.

The new route is integrated into the hub structure at Berlin, which offers customers from Hungary numerous connection possibilities throughout Germany and Europe with Germany’s second largest airline.

From its hub in Vienna airberlin also offers customers from the Czech Republic, Hungary and Slovakia some attractive travel options. The airberlin group’s summer schedule for 2012 includes 54 connections from Vienna to a wide range of destinations in Germany, Spain and Austria.
