A new helping hand for tourists in Florence

A new helping hand for tourists in Florence

The Florence hospitality welcomes two new initiatives for the city tourism with the Firenze Card and the FCB Congress Card.

The Firenze Card was inaugurated by the City of Florence on March 25th with the purpose of facilitating the visit of the city’s cultural locations.  The Firenze Card costs 50 € and is valid for 72 hours. . Every card includes free access to more than 30 Florence museums, with no queues at all, and enables the use of public transportation free of charge. It can be directly purchased at some of the museums and at the tourist information offices: piazza Stazione 4, via Cavour 1r (from Monday to Sunday) and also online on www.firenzecard.it.

Regarding the business tourism area, a few months ago the Firenze Convention Bureau inaugurated the Congress Card, a new service card for conference participants to secure them a better stay in Florence. Organizers of trade fairs and conferences have now the chance to offer their customers and delegates an especially customized Congress Card downloadable for free, valid for the whole stay in Florence during the congress or event date.  It provides a lot of special offers and fees at museums, historical venues, shops, restaurants, wellness centers, golf clubs, bike rental stands, and car rental agencies. Other services at special rates comprise sightseeing tours, taxis, and airport transfer with private driver. The Congress Card is not nominal and can be used by the participant as well as by anyone accompanying them. It is also valid a few days prior to and after the congress date.  Activating the Card is very easy: join the FCB website www.conventionbureau.it, select the event from the online calendar and, after a very quick registration, download the Card and print it together with the facilities list.
