More Brits plan to take a staycation than travel abroad this year

More Brits are planning to take a staycation in the UK in 2025 (52%) than travel abroad for a holiday (46%), new research from holiday park operator Away Resorts has revealed. When asked which region of the UK they would most love to visit in 2025, the top response was Scotland, followed by the South West and Wales. The next most desirable staycation locations were Yorkshire and the Humber, London, Northern Ireland and the North East of England, while the West Midlands was named the least desirable region to visit.
