Berlin - Among the core activities of SnapShot GmbH, educational programs play an important role for fostering industry growth. A new short course on hotel revenue management the company planned for May 11th to 12th, 2016, at the University of Surrey in Guildford, UK, will generate a better understanding of strategic decision making in a hotel environment and the impact on business performance. Professor Graham Miller, who is head of the university’s School of Hospitality and Tourism Management School, had this to say about the new courses:

The course aims to introduce a collaborative approach to Demand Management, focused on:

·      Market segmentation;

·      Distribution/transaction costs;

·      Pricing, demand and value;

·      Inventory control;

·      Hotel investment decisions – market analysis;

·      KPIs and benchmarking;

The class will be conducted by Sylvia Ganbert, Teaching Fellow at the University of Surrey; and Janel Clark, Head of Consultancy and Education at SnapShot; both experts in revenue management.
